Planet Hollywood Going Strong in Las Vegas

If you haven't been to Las Vegas since 2007, you'll notice a big name change where the Aladdin used to be. The old Aladdin was torn down in 1997 to make room for an all new Aladdin. The Aladdin's financial troubles were hanging around it's neck from the start. Eventually, Planet Hollywood, with partners from Starwood Hotels took over in 2003. After undergoing a massive renovation, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is a popular resort for movie premieres and celebrities.

The rooms at Planet Hollywood are designed in an upbeat, extreme modern look. The Planet Hollywood brand in Las Vegas is all about catering to the "star power" in all of us – right down to the complimentary valet parking. With nearly 2,500 rooms, Planet Hollywood offers a great location on The Strip – just next door to Paris, Las Vegas. The standard rooms are about 450 square feet and feature such amenities as: an iPod docking station, 27-inch flat-screen televisions, fuzzy robes and more!

One of the real perks is that it's tied to the Starwood Rewards Program that allows you to earn points with every stay. Overall, Planet Hollywood features 9 restaurants, 5 bars, a gym, spa concierge service. Planet Hollywood is a great place to let loose the "star" in yourself!
