The Bellagio theme is based on an Italian village near Lake Como in the northern part of Italy. Lake Como is recreated as a centerpiece to the Bellagio. The interior is impressive. Even if you're not staying at the Bellagio, it's worth hike up the drive to see the colorful blown-glass Dale Chihuly piece of art that hangs in the lobby. The Bellagio also plays host to an impressive art collection and gallery that features several Picassos. You'll also want to make a stop at the Bellagio's conservatory and botanical gardens. The display changes from season to season and is one of the few quiet places in Las Vegas. Today's economy has made room rates at the Bellagio more affordable in recent years.
