Las Vegas is a very popular destination for tourists worldwide. If you've never been to Las Vegas, it can be overwhelming to say the least. It's like no other destination in the world. By following a few simple tips, you'll be more prepared to enjoy your vacation in Las Vegas. • TIP 1: Book Your Activities Online. As I mentioned before, Las Vegas is a super busy city. You don't want to miss a great Vegas show because you didn't plan ahead. Las Vegas hotels, tours and shows are the stars of Vegas. Plan ahead! • TIP 2: Book a Room Close to The Strip. Booking a room on, or just off The Strip is a great way to go. You'll want to be close so you can walk from casino to casino, as well as all the great Las Vegas restaurants located on The Strip.

TIP 3: Bring Comfortable Shoes. Now this may feel like a bit out of place, but you'll thank us when you return to your room after hiking the streets of Las Vegas. Walking is the best way to experience the Strip, as well as downtown Las Vegas. However, it is visually deceiving when you want to go from casino to casino – especially on the Strip. The distance between hotels is greater than you think. Trust us – take comfortable shoes to Vegas! • TIP 4: Go For the Upgrade! When you check in to your hotel, it's always worth asking the front desk if there are any upgrades available. This Las Vegas strategy will work for you, depending on the time of year. You may be able to upgrade to a room with a better view for the same cost. It's worth a shot! • Keep these simple first-timer tips in mind and you'll have a great time in Las Vegas.
